Blockchains have the potential to support businesses and processes without boundaries. Before blockchains, systems relied on intermediaries and duplicate data flows to manage and reconcile information between parties. Now with blockchain technology, these flows can be achieved directly in a secure and non-repudiable way. Blockchains can connect parties more efficiently and effectively than ever before, reducing the latency and inconsistency inherent in many multi-party processes. Furthermore, the secure nature of blockchain transactions and the immutability of the data allows for processes to be automated to a far greater degree due to the level of trust we can place in that data.Blockchains are a natural fit in a world of connected things.  This talk will explore the benefits that blockchains provide and how they could be used to enhance everyday interactions.
